Work History
Founder of the company Terry Edwards joined the Clwyd Fire Service
as a Firefighter in 1975. On amalgamation with Gwynedd Fire Service to form
the North Wales Fire Service in April 1996, he held the post of Station Officer.
He retired from the Service as a Group Manager (Divisional Officer) in February
2006 having had responsibility for Fire Safety for the County of Denbighshire.
Having over 20 years experience specialising in Fire Safety my work included
dealing with Local Authorities (including Anglesey, Denbighshire, Wrexham, Gwynedd
and Conwy County Council), Architects, Planning Officers and business people
advising on Fire Precautions in Workplaces, including Hotels, Nursing Homes,
Residential Homes and Factories. also preparing and issuing Fire Certificates
for premises which came under the scope of the 1971 Fire Precautions Act.
Courses undertaken at the Fire Service Training College in Moreton in Marsh appertaining to Fire Safety include:

1 week residential
Terry Edwards also holds the
Institute of Safety and Health Certificate ( IOSH)
and
National Examination Board of Safety and Health ( NEBOSH)
